Booking a service?
Each year, your car must undergo a service to help keep your vehicle running at its optimal performance, necessary changes such as the engine oil, filters, brake fluid and coolant plus other requirements to show that it is roadworthy.
During your service, our team of experts will check all of the important car parts of your vehicle and replace them with new parts helping to keep your family as safe as possible on the road.
The time it takes may vary depending on your vehicle type, and whether you need any additional repairs after the service. However, a car service can get your car running to its full potential in less than a day when you book with a Asset cars ltd.
- Make sure to make a reminder about your service appointment.
- Arrive at your appointment approximately 10 minutes before to allow us to check your vehicle in.
- Don't forget to bring any accessories with you. (i.e locking wheel nuts, service book)
- A technician will call you once the service has been completed, informing you of any other issues.

What Does a Full Service Include?
1. General checks
- External lights.
- Headlights.
- Brake lights.
- Indicators.
- Instrument warning lamps.
- Horn.
2. Internal / vision
- Windscreen wipers and washers.
- Pollen filter condition.
- Windscreen integrity.
- Condition of all mirrors.
- Condition of number plate.
- Seat belt condition.
NOTE! Extra costs if replacement pollen filter is required.
3. Engine
- Replace oil filter.
- Replace air filter.
- Report any oil leaks.
- Advise on antifreeze strength.
- Check radiator and coolant hoses.
- Condition and tension of auxiliary drive belts.
- Inspect fuel system and tank (if visible).
- Check timing belt replacement intervals.
4. Fluid top-ups (if required)
- Screenwash.
- Coolant.
- Brake fluid.
- Power steering fluid.
- AdBlue
NOTE! Diesel only, extra cost for AdBlue top-up.
5. Brakes
- Brake fluid condition.
- Inspect brake pads for wear.
- Inspect brake discs for wear.
- Visual check all visible brake pipes and hoses.
- Check operation of handbrake.
- Visual check brake calipers.
NOTE! Extra charge for brakes if replacement needed.
6. Wheels & tyres
- Tyre condition and tread depth.
- Check and adjust tyre pressures.
7. Steering & suspension checks
- Condition of road springs.
- Steering and suspension components.
- Steering rack gaiters condition.
- Shock absorber condition
Wheel bearings.
8. Exhaust
- Visually check exhaust smoke.
- Advise on condition of exhaust.
